Jon Strobel
Agronomist / Salesman
When we pursued Jon to come on board as a Farmer's Choice Agronomist in 2022, we knew we were getting solid farming experience with an eye to the future.
A graduate of Bismarck State College, Jon holds a degree in Agronomy, and is an FFA Certified Drone Pilot. He is a committed member of the Golden Harvest Service 365 team, doing whatever it takes to optimize yield results.
Traveling North Dakota for Farmers Choice, Jon's favorite part of
his job is meeting new people, and learning everyday, "It’s great to
go out and scout and come across successes, or issues I've never
seen before. I love to just LEARN."
Agriculture doesn't get more hardcore than Denhoff, North Dakota, a small town east of McClusky, where this 5th generation farmer was born and raised.
The great great grandchildren of North Dakota homesteaders, Jon, Jolynne and Jacob Strobel partnered almost a decade ago to raise a herd of registered Angus cows. They all grew up as active members of the FFA.
Jon's connection to family is strong and he enjoys spending time with them, and his significant other. What does this very busy Agronomist do to unwind? Devils Lake! Jon loves his time at the lake cabin and all big-toy water sports!
